Renowned model Kendall Jenner has joined Stella McCartney’s Winter 2023 campaign, captured by photographer Harley Weir at the Camargue Salt Flats in France. Marking the first collaboration between the model and the sustainable brand, the campaign images showcase Jenner’s striking poses amidst the famous white horses of the region—horses belonging to rescue and horse whisperer Jean-Francois Pignon.
In a statement, designer Stella McCartney said: “I know the Stella girl this season must love horses as much as I do. Kendall has been riding horses since she was young, just like me, and she even has her own farm; you can see how comfortable she is around these sensitive creatures and when they’re around her. Capturing this connection will make ‘Horse Power’ come alive, both through fashion and vision.”
Debuting for the first time at Paris Fashion Week at the Manège de L’École Militaire, the theme “Horse Power” permeates the brand’s ready-to-wear clothing line this season. It demonstrates the designer’s lifelong love for horses. In her latest fashion incarnations, Stella McCartney delicately narrates the story of “the transformative relationship between humans and horses.”
Notably, the collection comprises 92% conscious materials, marking the brand’s largest sustainable product offering to date. This product line will be available for purchase online and at stores worldwide, starting this month.
