Mel B, famously known as “Scary Spice” from the iconic group Spice Girls, dropped some exciting news on Thursday during her appearance on the U.K. talk show “Loose Women.”
Prompted by co-host Christine Lampard about the possibility of a Spice Girls reunion, Lampard expressed the collective desire for the return of the group’s uplifting energy. Mel B, 48, eagerly confirmed, “We are definitely doing something.”
Acknowledging that her revelation might earn her a scolding, she humorously added, “I’m in trouble now.”
This isn’t the first hint of a reunion. Earlier in January 2024, during an appearance on Today with Hoda & Jenna, Mel B hinted at forthcoming “really good news” involving all five Spice Girls. While she kept details under wraps, she assured fans it would be a delightful surprise.
The prospect of a full reunion has been challenging due to the busy schedules of all five members, who are also mothers. However, Mel B assured fans that this upcoming reunion project would be “the gift that keeps on giving.”
The Spice Girls last reunited in 2019 for a U.K. tour, albeit without Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice). Mel B’s recent talk show appearances coincide with the re-release of her book “Brutally Honest,” now featuring three additional chapters as of March 5.
