In a grand unveiling, Disneyland Paris has reopened the doors to its iconic five-star hotel after undergoing a majestic transformation, heralding a royal reimagination. As the third-largest hotel owner-operator in France and a leading force among European theme parks, Disneyland Paris seamlessly combines enchanting magic, unparalleled service, and immersive storytelling, providing families with a choice of 5,700 rooms and suites.
Natacha Rafalski, the President of Disneyland Paris, expressed excitement about this pivotal moment, stating, “The reopening of Disneyland Hotel marks a new milestone in the transformation of Disneyland Paris, extending our legacy as a leader in the European tourism industry with a unique blend of storytelling and service excellence.” She added that the hotel stands as a one-of-a-kind five-star property celebrating beloved Disney royalty, making it one of the most immersive hotels in Europe.
The grand lobby of the Disneyland Hotel has received a regal makeover, reminiscent of the libraries in renowned French castles. Adorned in prestigious materials, the lobby features a symphony of ivory and gold tones, with a massive Bohemian crystal chandelier, representing Sleeping Beauty Castle, casting ribbons of light. The wood and marble mezzanine showcase 15 exclusive dioramas, paying homage to Walt Disney’s storytelling legacy through the multiplane camera.
Upon entering the lobby, guests are welcomed with a fairytale reception by a Royal Greeter, encouraging them to become part of the royal story. The lobby ambiance is enhanced by the performances of La Troupe Royale Disney, a duo of comedians engaging in surprise sing-alongs and interactive royal tales, often accompanied by Disney Princesses like Cinderella, Rapunzel, or Jasmine.
With a total of 487 rooms and suites, including the exclusive Castle Club with a private lounge and Disney Princess breakfast, the Disneyland Hotel offers a variety of luxurious accommodations. The rooms feature new elegant interiors, dream-inspiring artwork, and subtle decor accents to create a royal Disney atmosphere in every detail. Guests can indulge in a regal sleep experience with an exclusive pillow menu offering seven types of pillows.
The meticulous storytelling integration within the Disneyland Hotel is a result of collaborative efforts, involving Disneyland Paris teams, Walt Disney Imagineering, and a unique collaboration with Walt Disney Animation Studios. The hotel’s restaurants, bar, and lounges have also undergone a reimagination, showcasing the diversity of Disney Animation royal stories while offering unique gourmet dining experiences infused with French savoir-faire.
The Royal Portraits Gallery at The Royal Banquet Buffet Restaurant, adorned with paintings of various Disney royal families, provides a captivating backdrop for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For an enchanting table-service dinner experience, guests can dine in a ballroom setting inspired by “Beauty and the Beast” at La Table de Lumière, drawing inspiration from the Hall of Mirrors in Versailles Castle.
Adding to the allure, the property introduces the first-ever Disneyland Hotel Spa by Clarins, featuring four double treatment rooms for classic and signature treatments catering to individuals, couples, or children. This comprehensive transformation ensures that Disneyland Paris Hotel remains a beacon of enchantment and luxury for visitors seeking an unforgettable and magical experience.
