Ariana Grande, making her third appearance as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live, dazzled audiences with performances of two tracks from her latest album, Eternal Sunshine.
The 30-year-old singer treated viewers to renditions of “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)” and “Imperfect for You,” both featured on her seventh studio album, which debuted just the day before.
Introduced by host Josh Brolin for her first performance and by her mother, Joan Grande, for the second, Ariana captivated audiences with her emotive vocals and captivating stage presence.
During her first set, Grande delivered a soulful performance while seated in a home-like set, donning a stylish black dress paired with a brown coat. For her second performance, she adorned a stunning nude-colored gown, singing against a backdrop of changing outdoor scenery, creating a picturesque ambiance.
Grande’s latest album, Eternal Sunshine, features 13 tracks, including a heartfelt collaboration with her grandmother, affectionately known as “Nonna.” Despite initially planning to hold off on releasing new music until after her involvement in the Wicked musical, Grande found herself drawn back into the studio due to unforeseen circumstances, resulting in the creation of Eternal Sunshine.
Fans can catch Ariana Grande’s enchanting performances on Saturday Night Live, airing Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
